This is a collection of 500 different GM-compatible soundfonts in SF2 format. For the most part, these are full sets with all instruments included. They can be used to listen to MIDI files with all kinds of new and interesting sounds! The small handful that replace only Pianos, Guitars and Drums are very clearly labeled as such. If you are a Windows user, I suggest using these in conjunction with the "VirtualMIDISynth" program. The process is very straightforward. Many of these soundfonts are very difficult to find online, and required users to go to dodgy websites, or search old links on the WayBack Machine and hope that they were archived. This pack removes the hassle, and is my best attempt to collect every soundfont made from the early 90s all the way through today (2022 as of writing this document). If you would like to know more about each individual soundfont, please open them using the program "Polyphone Soundfont Editor". Most soundfont creators list their name, the date of creation, and in some cases very detailed information about the soundfont. Enjoy!
