Thank you for checking out Puppy 1 By Jim Kitchen

The object of Puppy 1 is to fly your twin engine plane and use it's twin in wing, machine guns to shoot down wave after wave of enemy aircraft.

When you deploy your aircraft it will start it's engines and take off. Once it automatically achieves altitude you will hear an enemy plane. If the enemy plane's engine sound and the wind sound is of a high frequency the enemy plane is above you and you will want to press or hold down the down arrow key to clime. If the frequency of the enemy plane engine and wind sound are a low frequency you will want to press or hold down the up arrow key to dive. If the enemy plane and wind sound is to the left use the left arrow key to turn left and the opposite right arrow key for if the enemy and wind sound is to the right. Also the right control key or the space bar will announce where the target enemy aircraft is in relation to you, such as above and right. If it reports above and zero, that means that the enemy is above you and you are lined up left to right. The same if it reports zero and right, which means that you are lined up, up and down but that the enemy is to the right of you. You can press or hold down the left control key to fire your machine gun at any time. You can use two arrow keys and the left control key all at the same time. Like to dive, turn left and shoot all at the same time.
The P key will pause the game. And pressing it again will un pause the game.
If you have a joystick the controls are similar. That is push the joystick forward to dive, pull it back to climb, move it left to turn left and move it right to turn right. Use the first button or trigger to fire your machine gun. Button 2 will announce the position of the enemy. And button 3 is the pause.
When you hear a voice speaking it means that you are just about to over take the enemy plane. If you do over take the enemy plane it will fly up behind you and shoot you down. In round 1 there will be 1 enemy aircraft. Round 2, 2 enemy aircraft. Round 3, 3 enemy aircraft etc until there are 6 enemy aircraft per round. The wind targeting sound and the right control key report of the enemy's position will always report the nearest enemy. When there is more than one enemy in the round, only the last enemy aircraft will spin down when shot. The others will just explode and you will want to start after the next enemy. You will start out with 3 planes. After you shoot down 5, then 10, then 15 enemy aircraft, you will earn an extra plane. The ambient battle sounds in the experienced and expert levels are just there for ambiance.

To uninstall Puppy 1 run the uninpupp.bat file.
