Welcome to the Queen compendium for those long cold nights as winter
draws in. Ever so loosely based on Queen's Greatest Hits I, here are a few
little gems all in General MIDI format (drums channel 10, embedded program
changes etc.)

Most arranged, tweaked, named, edited by Alexi on an Atari ST running
Cubase V2.0 with a trusty old Roland Sound Canvas

They are:

BESTFRND.MID You're my best friend (that elec piano sound _still_ isn't
                 quite right)
BITDUST1.MID Two versions of Another One Bites the Dust - one plain
BITDUST2.MID and simple, the other with frills.
BOHEMIAN.MID Bohemian Rhapsody with lots of nice program changes.
                 Purists may be offended.
CRAZYLIT.MID Crazy Little Thing Called Love (How DO you get a decent
acoustic guitar sound on a Sound Canvas? )
GOODOLDL.MID Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy (lots of lovely panned
                 guitars)
KILLERQN.MID Killer Queen (no finger snap but there's General MIDI for
                 you. Great Woodblock sound though)
SAVE_ME.MID Save Me
UNDERPRS.MID Under Pressure with the fragrant Mr.Bowie

The Sound Canvas elec guitar sound with chorus cranked up to max does an
almost passable impression of Brian May's fireplace guitar. A lot of the
guitar parts (up to 6 in KillerQn if memory serves) have been panned around
in stereo in a sad attempt to emulate that infamous Queen 'Wall of Guitar'.
Listen and enjoy.

Coming soon - Queen's Greatest Hits II with maybe a few more bunged in for
        good measure.
