Chucki Ho presents -- Smells Like Teen Spirit, as performed by Tori Amos.

This version of Nirvana's ode to teenage wasteland's finest hour, is probably
more poignant and heart-felt than the original. I really like the original,
but Tori Amos has brought it into a different light, with her sombre
phrasing and sparse piano.

This sequence has separate tracks for vocal, piano [left hand], and piano
[right hand]. I am amazed at Tori's terrific piano, as many of my piano
playing friends had admitted.  The patches are arranged for general midi;
make sure you've got a piano patch that will respond to sustain.

I actually only heard Tori's rendition on the radio a couple of times; I saw
a transcription of her work in Keyboard magazine. I sequenced the thikng to
hear it once again. [I believe it's only available on one of her CD singles.]
My feeble sequencing will not hold a candle to true grit playing; however, I
did try to make it as expressive as possible. [Maybe someone can suggest to
Bob Mace (he post up a lot of midi piano works) to do a sequence.]
