This is a standard MIDI file in General MIDI format (drums track 10 etc)
containing program and controller changes (nos.7 - main volume, 10 - pan, 91 -
reverb level, and 93 - chorus level) embedded within each track.

                          The track details are thus:

1 2 Xylophone Metal thing that you hit
2 3 Voice Aah sound (as opposed to 'ooh'?)

difficult to get wobbly sort of sound
9 1 SusString Sustained synth string sound
10 11 Sweeppad Pad that goes 'woooaaaaaooooow' but more slowly

So why sequence such a (relatively) obscure song ? Well, it has been used as a
backing track on stage for the last few years and we've just changed the set
and dumped all the old stuff, so I thought I'd send it somewhere ! A few of the
lines normally played live have been added, but other than that it sounds
almost like the original (which was on the B-Side of 'Stripped' I think - well
it was in the U.K. anyway)

See also THIS_DAY.ZIP - This Is The Day by The The - knockin around on this
archive somewhere.

Please Please Please E-mail me with anything even vaguely responsive re this
file - don't let apathy overcome you.

This was sequenced on a 2.5Mb Atari ST FM running a (legitimate) version of
Cubase v.2 via a Yamaha SY22, Casio CZ1000 and played for GMIDI compatability
on a Roland Sound Canvas SC-55.

Enjoy !
