MIDTEMP1

A straight eighth pattern used in so many styles of rock, this one
uses the right hand to play pairs of eighth notes. Note the louder
first eighth of each pair.

The snare plays beats 3 and 4 of a bar loosely deviating from this
to provide eighths or sixteens for minor fills.

This pattern, although used alot in the 60s still makes it's way
into the charts. Slowed down, it can be used for a soul ballad or,
sped up, a nice mid tempo pop track.
