BLOWITUP

The  bass drum plays straight quarter notes with no  variation  in 
dynamics.  Both hands are busy playing a sixteenth beat pattern on 
the  hi hat (raising the left foot to open the hi hat on  the  up-
beat eighth of every beat,  although, the right hand is taken away 
from this task to play the snare on beats 2 and 4 of the bar while 
the  left hand is taken away to play the up-beat  sixteenth  snare 
beat  before  every THIRD beat of the bar.  To  really  make  this 
pattern move,  a sixteenth cabasa pattern is used. Claps also play 
beats 2 and 4.
