L_BALLD1

Based on eighth note phrasing, this pattern provides a steady
solid foundation for Latin type ballads and has even been used by
the likes of Santana from time to time. Closed hi hat plays a
straight eighth beat phrase while the bass drum always plays the
1st beat of a bar with an up-beat eighth note before beats 3 and 1
of a bar. the rim shot (or side-stick plays on beats 2 and 4 of
every bar.
