SAMBA_2A

As brazilian as Tanya Maria, this pattern ooozes South America.
The bass drum plays every quarter note but syncopates a sixteenth
before every one of those quarters. The sparse ride cymbal and
sixteenth note shaker phrases almost give music the quality of
FLOATING - or BOUNCING. The small percussion - i.e. the gogo
bells, cabasa and bongos lift it even higher. An infectious rhythm
at the very least.
