Straight eighths are played by the closed hi hat with the
exception of the up-beat open hi hat on beat eight (beat 4-bar2 of
a two bar block). Snare as always for the back beat on beats 2 and
4 of the bar later joined on the same beats by hand claps. The
bass drum plays beats 1 and 3 of the bar with an up-beat eighth at
beat 7 (beat 3-bar2 of a two bar block) and perhaps even an up-
beat eighth on the 4th beat of the last bar into a new bar. The
tambourine lightly plays accented eighth notes to the bar. This is
another example of how latin percussion (towards end of file) puts
even more groove into something.
