This is a sample of three Yamaha DX7 harpsichord sounds. Although
it's old, the DX still has a great harpsichord sound. The
samples are not looped but real harpsichords have no sustain
either. You can hear the string release at the end of the
sample.

The bank is 500K and I tested it using the basic 512K that
comes with the AWE. Just double click harpsi.sbk into a user
bank (such as user bank 1). The sounds should load in showing
the amount of sample memory remaining.

Open whatever you use to send midi signals then send a data
change (the same as your user bank) to controller 0. For example
load the sounds into user bank 1, open your midi program (i.e.
Cakewalk, etc.) then send the controller change. You can send it
via BOB in AWE control panel. Right button click channel 1,
set "controller" to 000 Undefined (which is really bank change),
"Apply" set the "Value" to 1 (same as your user bank) then try
your keyboard. It should play the harpsichord sounds.

The first three patches, changeable within your midi program
(piano 1, 2 & 3 of General Midi) should be the high harpsichord,
harpsichord, and doubled harpsichord sounds.

Use these instead of patch 7 (harpsichord) of the AWE.

Hope you enjoy these.
