<<Gort's-Filters>>

<<Gort's-Filters>> has 128 new and varied sounds, many with Moving Filters, (hence the name). There are lots of other non-standard timbres and Synth sounds, some designed to be played as chords, others as single notes. Most of the voices are fairly complex and richly-textured, but I do know there are lots of people who like those thin and "retro" (also called pass) sounds, so dive in fellas, they're all here.
It will mostly be useful to musicians who want something a bit out of the ordinary or who are fed up of GM voices. I don't know for what bizarre and perhaps perverted uses you may need certain strange sounds, but this Soundfont will be ideal.

Making something completely new is getting increasingly difficult. I've already made more ChineseBanjos than the world will ever need, and I'm sure there's plenty of SpaceFlutes for anything you might think of - even for that strange man in Huddersfield. So this is probably the last set of small soundfont sounds that I'll put out, because I've known for a while that I'm going over the same ground. (Although I did manage to get a decent "Simply Having a Wonderful Christmas Time" synth sound.)

Another problem is that I'm finding it hard to keep track of the sounds because there's so many, and I suppose that if I can't remember what they all are as their creator, then it will be a chore for you as the user to keep track of them too.
Set against that is - I know what I use often, but each musician has completely different preferences and they'll use a different set of voices for their own music. Friends have raved over sounds that I thought were nothing special, and been totally unimpressed by the ones I thought were great, which has taught me something. So in this one as in all the others, I've tried to offer something which I believe might suit other musicians, even though I wouldn't find a use for those sounds myself.

And again, I hope there's something in here that you find useful to your music.
