STATLX(1) USER COMMANDS STATLX(1)

NAME
statlx - input lx signal from SFS data file and create lx
     statistics table

SYNOPSIS
statlx (-f minimum frequency) (-F maximum frequency) (-s
     statistics file) (dbase file)

DESCRIPTION
statlx Is a program to input an lx signal, derive statistics
concerning the number of periods with given tx and open
phase, and store these statistics in an output file, which
can be read and displayed in various formats by program
stat_disp. The program while running outputs to the user
terminal a sequence of numbers giving the average level for
each buffer relative to a threshold below which the signal
is assumed to consist of silence: thus a signal level number
less than 1 indicates that the current buffer is assumed to
consist of silence, and will be ignored.

     Options and their meanings are:

     -I Identify program and exit

     -fminimum frequency
Select minimum Fx to be recognised by program.
                Intervals between excitations
longer than this minimum frequency will be con-
                sidered as voiceless. Default
                 minimum frequency is 40 Hz.

     -Fmaximum frequency
Select maximum Fx to be recognised by program.
                Default is 800 Hz

     -sstatistics file
name of statistics file. Default is "stat_table"

     -iitem number

OUTPUT ITEMS
3 Tx and other Lx parameters
