Sloane         PRINTER DIP SWITCH SETTINGS      Make sure that switches 6 and 8 of the left hand dip switch are     in the up position.  The dip switches are located on the front of    	 the printer at the bottom right corner.  
    KEYSOFT DEFAULT SETTINGS     
 If you are using A4 size paper, you may wish to set the default     page length of Keysoft to 70 lines.  This will give you 4 extra     lines of print per printed page, however it is not necessary to     change from the normal default setting of 66 lines.  To change     the default page setting to 70 lines per page, open a new file     and enter the Page Format List by typing CTRL with P.  Change the     page length to 70 lines and confirm the entry by pressing RIGHT     ARROW.  Store the new Page Format by typing CTRL with S.  Enter     the printer set up list and set pause after each page to Off.      Return to Main Menu and select the Utilities Menu.  Press W to     write the default settings to disk.      TYPE STYLES      The type styles available on the Deskjet 500 Printer are as    follows:      A - 12 Point character height   B - Bold print    C - 6 Point character height  ! D - Draft Quality  " E - Set 5 characters per inch  # F - Set 10 characters per inch  $ G - Set 16.67 characters per inch  % H - Set 20 characters per inch  & I - 6 lines per inch  ' J - 8 lines per inch  ( K - 12 characters per inch  ) L - Letter quality print  * M -   + N - Italic  , O - Courier  - P - Gothic  . Q - CG Times  / R -  0 S - Superscript  1 T - Subscript  2 U - Underline  3 V -  4 W -  5 X - Proportional Spacing  6 Y - 24 point character height  7 Z - Landscape print
