     Yep, believe it or not; the talking checkbook is still
alive.  

     This version implements new printing routines that Don
Barrett did to fix a problem where the check printing would not
print the right year digits.  Thanks Don!

     How about the future of the talking checkbook?  Well, this
version should work until the year 2079 which will be long after
Don and I have bit the dust I would imagine.  Probably DOS will
bite the dust even sooner, but for you die hards (no pun
intended) -- here is the best and most accessible checkbook
management system that will ever be written for us blind folks.

     Enjoy and hope your checkbook gets so big that you'll buy
Microsoft and re-issue Ms Dos to live forever!

ps:  Oh yeah, all you have to do with this version of the talking
checkbook is the same as all other versions; unzip it into your
existing talking checkbook subdirectory and go there and type
"Checks" without the quotes, and you are up and running.
