What's new in Scantune 2.02?

02/29/96 the error 52 in suggested spellings is fixed
02/25/96 An E macro instruction has been added so the correction is only
made when search string is embedded in a word.
A ^I placed at the beginning or end of the replacement string in a macro
causes Scantune to put you immediately into the editor. If you use the
internal editor, the cursor is placed at the beginning or end of the
replacement string, depending on the position of the ^I.
Alt f4 is now an unconditional exit key like alt x.
When you choose the "c" option for a prompted macro, you are now shown
the entire word in which the error was found. You will need to enter
the entire word for the correction, not just the part where the error
was found. The correction no longer becomes the default. This change
was made to clear up confusion about the manual correction option.
     02/23/96 Fixed the decolumnizer.
02/21/96 The bug that caused macros not to be written to a newly created
macro file is fixed.
The Add Macros screen has been reworked to make it less visually
confusing.
The internal editor now accepts alt d to delete current line and alt x
as an unprompted save and exit.
02/18/96 Nag screen appearances set to startup, exit and 20 minute
intervals during tuning.
The demo no longer "hangs" at midnight
You can now set the length of each end process alarm ring.
When adjustments are made to beeps and alarms in the options menu, the
result is sounded for you.
You can now set an option to decolumnize text in tune mode.
You can load a config file other than scantune.ini from the command l
line. To do this, type scantune yourFile.ext /i,InitFileName and press
enter.
You can enter the macros menu by typing scantune yourfile.ext /m and
pressing enter.
You can view the userlog for a given document from the command line.
Type scantune yourFile.txt /v and press enter.
The "QUIT" option on the prompted menu bar has been changed to "IGNORE."
the "VIEW" option on the prompted menu bar is changed to "VARY."
If cleanup is running and an error occurs, the current macro is written
to scantune.err.
