This set of Eudora files is specifically tailored for release 3.0.5. Users of 3.0.3 should use the original Eudora set previously posted to the JFW User List web site.

In addition to being optimized for version 3.0.5, this configuration set adds the following new features:

(1)	During the sending and checking of mail, information about mail being sent and received is still spoken automatically, but less extraneous information is spoken. Thus, the whole connection dialog is less verbose and distracting.

(2)	A hot key, Control+Shift+T, has been added to speak the TO field of a newly created message. Thus, you can check if your TO field is correct without moving the cursor.

(3) A hot key, Control+Shift+C, has been added to speak the CC field of a newly created message. Thus, you can check if your CC field is correct without moving the cursor.

(4) A hot key, Control+Shift+B, has been added to speak the BCC field of a newly created message. Thus, you can check if your BCC field is correct without moving the cursor.

(5) Eudora 3.0.5 now speaks new mail boxes automatically as you move to them with Control+Tab or Control+Shift+Tab. Thus, the script code which did this in the 3.0.3 scripts has been removed. To have this feature work properly, make sure Eudora and each mailbox is maximized.

The features which the 3.0.3 scripts added to Eudora which are also continued in these configurations are as follows:

(1) When in the address book, The E-mail and Notes fields will be announced when focus is moved to them.

(2) While composing a message, Control+Shift+S will open the signatures options list.

(3) Many of the common hot key combinations now speak their names when accessed.

(4) Tool tips are spoken automatically if the JAWS cursor is placed on an icon.

(5) Most of the icons (graphics) have been labeled.

(6) While doing a spell check, Insert+C will read the misspelled word in context, Control+Shift+U will announce the unknown word, and Control+Shift+O will announce the default substitution for the unknown word.

(7) Insert+H will give you hot key help.

(8) Information dialogs which were silent before now speak their contents automatically.

If you find that Insert+C tells you that it cannot find the highlighted, misspelled word, try temporarily changing your message window to Restored rather than maximized. Then try the spell check again. This usually seems to solve the problem. It shouldn't be necessary to drag the spell check window downwards as I previously suggested if you use this strategy.

Thanks to Patrick Burke for sending me some old Eudora macros which he, David Truong, Dennis Godin, and Robin Christopherson wrote. This gave me the idea for the three functions included here which speak the TO, CC, and BCC fields of a new message.
