                   CONSETS FOR WORDPERFECT.

WORDPERFECT 5.0, 5.1 COLOR, and 5.1 MONO CONSETS - November 91.

Consets for these 3 Wordperfect Versions and display options
operate in the same way. The following is a summary of the
features which are available in each Configuration.

The filenames of these Consets are as follows:

WP5MONO2.MT For Wordperfect 5.0 or 5.1 with mono display.
WP51COL2.MT For Wordperfect 5.1 with color display.
WP51MON2.MT For Wordperfect 5.1 with mono display.

Each of these Consets has four configurations, as follows:

     1. Default: for normal document editing.
     2. Menu: for pull-down menus and file directory screen.
     3. Spell: for the spelling checker screen.
     4. Reveal Codes: for the Reveal Codes screen.

Switching between the various configurations is automatic. The
conset will function optimally, only if the Wordperfect program
has the factory default colour settings throughout. To return
to the factory default settings, if changes have been made,
delete the file: WP{WP}.SET from the WP51 directory before
running the program.

To ensure correct switching to and from the Menu configuration
when the pull-down menus are activated, the Menu Bar should not
be permanently displayed on the screen. The Word Perfect
SHIFT/F1 command allows this change to be made if necessary.

NOTE: The MasterTouch READ key will be the ALT key unless you
choose to redefine it. MasterTouch automatically transfers all
of Wordperfect's ALT key combinations on to SHIFT/ALT. For
example, to obtain the "Block" command, you should press and hold
down SHIFT and ALT, then press F4.

not found in the dictionary, will be spoken as soon as
it is identified by the spelling checker.

B). In this configuration, the cursor has been redefined
as the highlight, which indicates the word which has
not been found in the dictionary.

Hot key, READ with 1, reads the "Unknown Word".
Alternatively, READ with K can be pressed to speak the
          "word at cursor".

          twice, in the usual way.

D). Hot key, READ with 2, reads the suggested alternative
          spellings for this word.

F). If you wish to examine the suggested alternative
spellings in detail, follow the procedure below:

Press READ with Z to switch to Freeze mode.
Press READ with N, followed by 15, then Enter.
(This will read the first line of
suggestions and leave the Freeze mode cursor
at the start of line 15. 15 will remain the
default line number for future use of the
                    READ with N command.)
Use the L key to step through the list, word by
                    word.
Check the spelling of any word in the usual way
                     by pressing K twice.

4. Reveal Codes Configuration.

A). In this configuration, the cursor is redefined as the
highlighted block in the lower half of the screen,
which identifies the current character or code.

B). Moving the cursor vertically with the Arrow keys,
causes each line to be spoken, including all codes.

C). As the highlight cursor is moved horizontally with the
Left and Right Arrows, the character or code at the
          cursor position is spoken.

D). In all other respects, this configuration functions in
exactly the same way as the Default configuration,
with the same key names and hot key functions.
(This screen can be used as the editing screen at all
          times, if preferred.)
