PC Talking Typing Tutor is a typing tutorial program designed
specifically to be used with speech synthesizers, screen review
programs and screen enlargement systems on IBM PC compatible
computer systems. PC Talking Typing Tutor can be used for
training new keyboarding skills and improving the skills of
experienced typists. New typists learn and practice all the keys
on the QWERTY keyboard in systematic lessons. Each lesson
includes sessions for learning key locations, and for practicing
keys individually, in words and in sentences. Performance
enhancement is achieved by continuously monitoring typing
performance and using the performance information to present keys
which are typed slower or less accurately to the typist more
frequently.
