The two formats required for posting items
in either the forsale.txt or the news.txt
sections of the phone book follow.

Forsale Information And Format
Any item of interest to the blind is welcome in the forsale.txt
file of the phone book including items for trade or items wanted.
Companies, however, are only allowed to post a new item or
product. Obviously, we cannot list a company's whole catalog but
I do store and post such catalogs so if you have one, send it to
me. A business, however, can list one item per month if the item
is a special product on sale or if it is a brand new product. The
for sale file will be deleted every month so when you have a new
item, be sure and get it to me near the end of the month so it
will be in the next month's release. Yes, you can carry an item
over but you have to re submit it so I know your intentions. Use
the following format and try and keep your description short, that
is, to a few lines. Each entry will be assigned an item number
such as Item #1 so readers can search for the next item if
desired. If you wish to include a street address and phone
number, include that in the body of your description. Send all
submissions to me via email either as an attached ascii file or as
an email message itself please. In the following format, remove
the information in the parentheses but keep the headers. Thanks.

News General Information And Format
To include a news item in the news.txt file of the monthly release
of the Internet Phone Book of Blind Users and Services, please use
the following format, that is, fill in the form below and email it
back. All news items are deleted at the end of the month. If you
wish to renew your announcement, use the same format and send it
back near the end of the month. Announcements may be by
organizations, individuals who may have something they feel is of
value to other blind people, or information about new software
releases and the like. Those producing newsletters may post in
this same format monthly but do not send the complete newsletter.
Send the table of contents and a brief description and then
provide phone numbers, addresses, and email information where your
newsletter can be obtained by readers. Please try and keep your
information as short as possible. I will assign each news item a
numerical number, as in Item #1, to assist readers in searching
for the next news item if they prefer to skip something in which
they have no interest. If you have questions or suggestions, let
me know. All submissions must be in straight ascii format. Use
it in the body of an email message or send it as an ascii attached
file. In the following format, remove the statements within the
parentheses and keep the headers in place. Thanks.
