STATE DEPARTMENT TRAVEL ADVISORY - Greece
============================================================
GREECE - CAUTION
 October 2, 1991

The decline in terrorist threats since the end of the Gulf War and
the absence of any recent serious incidents against American
citizens renders the warning in the earlier Eastern Mediterranean
travel advisory, as it pertains to Greece, no longer necessary.

Thousands of Americans visit Greece every year without incident
traveling widely in the countryside and throughout the islands.
There has not been a significant anti-American terrorist incidents
in Greece since March 1991. Terrorist groups continue some activity
and Americans visiting Greece should exercise normal caution.

 No. 91-184

This travel advisory replaces the Eastern Mediterranean travel
advisory dated February 6, 1991, notes the decline in terrorism
since the Persian Gulf War and advises Americans to exercise normal
caution.
