Scattered through the text are references to computer programming in
general and to interpreted BASIC in particular. The anecdote
about the tin whistle and the flute (originally part of the intro-
duction to TINWHISTLE BASIC) is, I believe, of general interest; the
excerpts from TINWHISTLE BASIC somewhat less so, the material in
the INTERPRETED BASIC REVISITED series is fairly specialized and
probably will be of interest only to those who themselves are in-
        interested in the BASIC environment.

Finally, for those who might be considering purchase of the book
and would like to get a better idea of what it is all about, there
is, in the TINWHIST subdirectory of the diskette (indirectly
accessible from this program), a selection of excerpts from the book.
It can be read by typing TINWHIST and <ENTER>ing, either from the
root directory or from the TINWHIST subdirectory.
