GusDelay turns the GUS into a stand alone multi-tap delay module. It samples
line-in and/or mic-in, does two "look-up table" mappings on the samples,
sends the results of the two mappings to GUS's ram, then uses up to 14 of
the GUS's voices to play back the data. Each voice has an individually
controlled delay, volume, and pan position. The sign of a voice's volume
determines which of the two sets of mapped data that voice will play.
Using this scheme it is possible to create "on the fly" surround sound.

Despite all of that, however, GusDelay will not provide effects for sounds
that are generated by other GUS software (unless that software is running on
another comupter with another GUS).

GusDelay v1.0 does not take advantage of the 16-bit daughter card. Also, it
is unable to take advantage of the enhanced mixer found on rev 3.7 GUSes.
It only uses 256K because it made the GUS memory management routines a
little simpler. All of these items are mentioned in the "Future
Enhancements" chapter of GusDelay.txt.
