For the record, I experienced the same thing.  GUS0035
did not drop notes like later versions.  Notes are dropped
during busy pieces with lots of drums and bass quarter
notes at 120 bps and faster.  Slower pieces are better.
I have a 486DX33, 8 Megs Ram, ISA bus clock speed 8 MHz.

Aside:  Bass ends up sounding like I play.  Fumbling over
notes.  Skipping notes to catch up.  Very human-like. :)

I don't have GUS353 yet.

Hi, Rogier!

Boy, am I glad I'm not the only one!  I have this problem in a bad way.
I have an old Kawai K3 and a 386DX-25 and the dropped notes are
making my MIDI setup virtually useless.

I haven't checked thouroghly enough with the new disks, but I
suspect it's still there (sigh).  I hope they fix this soon.
