Subject: Feature requests for next SDK version

Hi,

This message is directed towards whomever is responsible for the SDK. I
have a feature request (which is certainly non-critical, but easy to
implement) and a question.

Feature Request: Instead of UltraSetRecordFrequency returning void, I would
like it to return the actual Record Frequency that will be used. Since
there is only an 8-bit register that determines sampling frequency, there
are only 256 distict frequencies that can be used. If a sampling frequency
is passed to UltraSetRecord Frequency that does NOT correspond to one of
these 256 values, then the actual frequency used will be different from the
one requested. It would be nice if UltraSetRecordFrequency returned the
actual value so that the programmer using the SDK does not have to do the
(fairly trivial) math.

Question: If UltraRecordData is called with the repeat flag TRUE, the DMA
controller is programmed to go into auto-init mode. How does one stop the
DMA controller from DMA'ing? Does it automatically stop if UltraGoRecord is
not called (I don't think so)? Is there a need for an UltraStopRecord?

Thanks for any input anyone can give me,
Dave
