Chuck wrote in experiencing problems with Band-in-a-Box, GusMax and Windows.
I'm real new to sound card musicianship, so when my BinaB 6.0 came in the
mail and wouldn't work with Windows - I just called P&G and asked them
why ... Their response was to send me *Free* all new copies of 6.01
      diskettes. I just re-installed 6.01 over 6.0 and haven't had a problem
since, other than my tin ear.

Subject: GUS Tracker

Look for FastTracker 2, a recently released tracker, with GUS support, duh.
Like the demo crews use anything but. Anyway, look for it in the submit
subdir on EPAS, or perhaps in x2ftp.oulu.fi (the programmers' hideout).
It should be great.
Yossi.
