Subject: bosenl patch won't play

I've seen this asked over the last day or two, but am yet
to see the answer.

The Bosendorfer patch (bosenl.zip, 800-900k) won't play,
either in PatchMan or PatchMaker Lite. No error messages,
just no sound. I have an old non-MAX GUS, with 1MB. I
haven't got new Windows drivers for some time, in case
this makes any difference - I think I'm still on the
3.53 set or something like that. As someone said yesterday,
if you delete one of the samples (I tried the top one) in
PatchMaker, then stretch out the next lower sample to play
the high notes, then it plays, but of course then the
high notes are useless. What gives? It surely must play
for someone.

While writing, is there an 'Index' for the Propats. There
are several sets, all huge, but what is in which?
