Yes, it does make a difference.  Early window drivers would not handle
sample waveforms > 64K.  

BTW, bosen_l was replaced by bosen_l2.  Has this one been deleted from the
archive?

Ah, and how much does this digital piano cost?  Hey, you're comparing a 
sound card with a digital piano that has far bigger samples.  As far as the 
patch is concerned, you can improve it by modifying the envelopes a bit and 
modifying the MIDI file so far every track that uses the piano patch, you 
use two tracks, one panned to the left (0) and one panned to the right (127).
