Subject: Replacement for patch maker/manager???!!!!

I've only owned my GUSMAX for about a month but I was ready to use it as soon
as I opened the package. UNfortunately, most of the software is not documented
well and alot of the sofware is garbage. So instead of complaining for this
whole message I'll just ask my question. Is there a good replacement for patch
maker/manager. The maker should support the actual sample manipulation and the
manager (THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART) should have a Bank Man. that lets you
take any *.pat files and create instantly usable banks. (ie. as alternatives to
the original MIDI setup (yuck!) Also, could someone mail me a simple diagram of
how to impliment the MAX's 3d sound with a MIDI seq? I love the MAX but it
needs more competitive software (and I'm just a user not a programmer!).
Thanks.
