Subject: Need someone to help write a MIDI song

I've got a bit of work for someone if they want it. I'm writing a
book about writing video games to be published toward the end of this
year. In the book I'm developing a simple video game that will have
all the source code included both in print and on disk. One of the
chapters in the book is about sound and music. I'll be using the
Miles DIGPAK/MIDPAK sound drivers to do the actual work. My problem
is that I'm not a music person. I need someone to come up with a
fairly short music score to be played when the game is in progress.
Being a GUS owner I thought I'd ask the GUS musicians first.

Now, I can't pay you for the work. I can give you credit both on the
disk (in a README and in the credits screen for the game) as well as
in the book itself. If you are someone who does or wants to get into
contract music writing, you can even have a small sidebar that
describes yourself and gives your phone number and address. If you
just want a small project to work on over the next couple of months
you can tell me what sort of credit you'd like (you may not want people
calling your house all the time :-).

Please reply directly as I don't normally read the musicians digest
(I'm a general/programmer sort of guy).
