Subject: EQing GUS voices

I was wondering...

Is it possible to EQ the GUS's voices in any way ? Real-Time would be nice !
So could I have an application I wrote playing samples/patches/whatever across
multiple voices and have a little window/panel with a 5 band graphic equalizer
allowing me to EQ a selected voice ?? If possible, would it be destructive
/nondestructive to the waveform in DRAM. Or is it too CPU intensive to be practical??
