I don't know what you mean by a `distorted sound', but I was not very
impressed by the patch either. It has a weird vibrato. I agree that
the original nylon guitar patch that came with the GUS sounds more like
a real nylon string guitar, though I still like to get something better.
I am going to try make one myself, if I can get acces to some 16 sampling
card.
