Revision history:

v 0.7,  <94-01-07>
  * Removed the signed to unsigned conversion, since we've now got Patch Maker
    Lite, wich hopefully doesn't have the bug of the old PATCH.EXE ((I haven't
    tries it yet to be honest) and now everything is saved in the format it
    initially was in.
  * The .INI extract now looks a bit differently.
    I've introduced the concept of "BankName=Whatever" to give the banks names.
    This will be set to the songname.
    By the way, check out my new program 'Midi Patch Browser' (MPBnn.ZIP).
  * Added my bird logo to the text font.

v 0.6,  <94-01-05>
  * Fixed another embarrasing bug, when converting from signed to unsigned
    data I now add 80h and not 7Fh as previously (got a little noise...).

v 0.5,  <93-12-23>
  * Yes, now you can 'hear-out' the samples before you decide wether to save
    them. Of course, an ultrasound card is required for that!
  * Fixed a rather embarrasing bug with MOD loop points.

v 0.4,  <93-12-20>
  * Reads 669, STM and S3M.
  * Always saves as unsigned, 'this because Gravis PATCH.EXE always uses
    unsigned data and it's convert command doesn't convert the last byte...
  * Converted source code into C.

v 0.3,  <93-11-26>
  * Reads MTM, ULT, WAV, FSM and raw files.
  * Ability to edit internal patch names (Use TAB to toggle between DOS-name
    and Patch-name edit).
  * Added GUSPATCH.TXT; Ultrasound patch format description (Pascal syntax).
  * Any MOD that isn't a M.K., 4CHN, 6CHN, 8CHN, FLT4 or FLT8 are now treated
    as beeing of the older 15 (versus 31) sample format.

v 0.2,  <93-11-21>
  * Reads 4,6,8 ch MOD's 'M.K.', '4CHN', '8CHN'.
  * Basic user interface.
  * Smart 'auto filename'.

v 0.1,  <93-11-13>
  * Nothing fancy, reads 4ch MOD's, writes PAT's, ULTRASND.INI extract.

The Possible Future:

- Improved user interface (Slidebar windows, Group selection, Directory
  navigation, Mouse driven). Might not be worth the trouble.
  It is functional as it is and it's not intended to be a patch editor.

- More input formats; just send me a complete description of any format(s)
  you want me to include.

Adds:

- By now, my Windows :Midi Patch Browser: (MPB06.ZIP or later) should be out.
  Check it out! It fully supports multiple patch bank caching.

- Have you tried my image viewer called :Image Eye: ?
  Currently v2.01 (IEYE201.ZIP). You'll not be able to find a faster GIF-viewer
  Handles a LOT of formats incl. JPEG with GOOD quality conversion to 256clrs
  (from 16M). Requires i386+, XMS, VESA.
  DPMI compliant v2.1 will be out in an undetermined, not-too-far-off future.
