STYLUS_D.PRD ESC/P2 driver for Word 5.X & 6.0 / Works 2 & 3


* Installing the ESC/P2 printer driver with Microsoft Word 6.0:
---------------------------------------------------------------

    The printer driver file is called STYLUS_D.PRD, and can be
    found on this disk.  For installation with Microsoft Word,
    follow the steps below:
    
       * Copy the STYLUS_D.PRD file into your Word Directory.  
	 For example from DOS you might type:
    
		   copy a:STYLUS_D.prd c:\word

       * Start Word.
       * Open the "File" menu (ALT-F), select "Printer Setup..." (ALT-R).
       * Select STYLUS_D.PRD in the "Files" box (ALT-F). 
       * Select the correct printer model in the "Printer Name" box (ALT-N).
       * Choose the paper source in the "Paper feed" box (ALT-E).
       * Choose the printer resolution in the "Graphics Resolution" box (ALT-G).
       * Choose OK (ENTER).


* Installing the ESC/P2 printer driver with Microsoft Works 3.0:
----------------------------------------------------------------

    The printer driver file is called STYLUS_D.PRD, and can be
    found on this disk.  For installation with Microsoft Word,
    follow the steps below:
    
       * Start Works.
       * Open the "Print" menu (ALT-P), select "Printer Setup..." (ALT-S).
       * In the "Printer Setup" window, select "Change Printer & Option..." 
       (ALT-C)
       * In the "Change Printer & Option" window, select "Install New..." 
       (ALT-I). When prompted for the Works Setup Disk, insert the disk 
       containing STYLUS_D.PRD.
       * When the "Install New Printers" window appears, make sure STYLUS_D is 
       selected in the "Available options" field, then select your printer 
       model in the "Available printers" field before clicking on the "Install"
       button (ALT-I). Works is now copying the driver file in its directory. 
       Click on the "Done" button to close this window.
       * You can now select your Epson printer in the "Change printer & Option" 
       window, and click on the "Done" button (ALT-D).
       * Select the correct options (Graphics, Paper Source, Page Feed, Port) 
       in the "Printer Setup" window, then click on the "OK" button (RETURN).
