Prior to backing up the phone, what will be included in the backup must be selected from the phone.
Note:
No matter which backup option is chosen,I have found no way to manually name the backup,
so it is distinguished from the other backups.
This leads me to believe that the current backup will be over-written with the most recent.

*Backing up to iCloud:
1. Open iTunes, and then plug in the phone.
Make sure that the program is maximized for best results with Jaws.

2. Press the F6 key until you come to the search field, then tab to the iPhone button, and press the spacegbar.

3. Tab until you come to the "iCloud" radio button and make sure it is checked,

4. Next, tab to the "encrypt iPhone backup" checkbox and make sure it is checked.
this will allow account passwords, health, and home kit data to be backed up.

5. Tab to the "Backup now", button, and pressthe spacebar.
This will start the backup process, and a tone should be heard when it is complete,
and focus should return to the "Backup now", button.

6. Once the backup has completed , tab until you come to, "Latest Backups",
then continue to tab until you hear the date of the backup.

*Backing up to the computer:
1. follow the steps above, this time, tab to the "this computer" radio button and check it with the spacebar.
2. Next, shift tab to the the "backup now" button, and press the spacebar.
