1. Press windows key plus q to access the search charm
2. Type system restore
3. Use your down arrow key and press enter on settings
4. In the list of results press enter on the system restore choice
5. You are now in the system protection property sheet so press tab and activate the system restore button
6. In the system restore dialog you will see dates to select to restore your computer to a date before the event occurred
7. Press your tab key to the show more restore points check box and press spacebar
8. Tab into the list view and use your down arrow to select the preferred date
9. After selecting the date tab to the next button and press spacebar
10. A dialog will appear to confirm the restore point
11. If you are sure and would like to proceed activate the finish button
The system restore process will now begin and during the process, your system will restart and a dialog will appear notifying you of the completion.
