Sending an attachment directly from Word 2010:
1. open Word 2010.
2. Type up the document to send.
3. Press alt plus the letter f, followed by letter D, followed by E and finally the letter A.
4. Outlook will open to a blank message and the cursor is placed in the to edit field.
5. Enter a recipient's email address.
6. Tab down to subject and enter a brief line.
7. Tab once more to the message body field.
8. Type your message and press alt plus s to send.
The document you typed in Word is sent as the attachment.
